We were SUPER busy in May, take a look at a few things we got up to :) 

We embraced the sunshine and had our lunch out in the secret garden 

We learned about the famous artist Monet and created our very own water lilies inspired by his work 

For PE we are focusing on the skill of 'striking with an implement', we have been playing tennis and hockey 

We made butter in class like the Viking women

We took part in a drumming workshop and created a class quilt design to celebrate diversity week 

We took part in a zoom webinar that showcased 5 artists that worked with scientists to collaborate on making a piece of art. The art we loved the most were the jellyfish. We learned that DNA is the code that makes us unique and the PCR test process is visually similar to a bloom of jellyfish in how the copies of DNA are copied over and over
