Welcome to the STEM Section of our Website!

Stem education focuses on areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.  These subjects are embedded in the world around us and in everything we do!

We are using this page to show you all the amazing STEM and SOS science initiative work that is going on in our school.  (Please check out the noticeboard in the Treehouse building for more SOS updates!)

In 2020 we were awarded the prestigious SF1 (Science Foundation Ireland) Discover Science and Maths (DPSM) Award for all our wonderful work in STEM. 

In 2019 and 2020 senior classes attended and exhibited their inquiry learning topics at the wonderful SCIENCE BLAST at the RDS. Sadly due to Covid restrictions this event was virtual this year but we cannot wait to send students back to the RDs next year :)
